The Genosys automated pen device, the ‘Dermafix’ stimulates the growth of collagen fibres by creating superficial breaks in the skin. How microneedling works- We use small sterile needles to prick the skin the reaction to the invisible wounding is automatic and produces a surge of activity that inevitably leads to fibroblasts being instructed to produce more collagen and elastin. Microneedling helps to improve and stimulate hair growth, reduce scarring, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, poor texture, dull skin, fine lines & wrinkles, congested skin/blackheads/milia, dehydrated skin and uneven skin tone. Our microneedling/mesotherapy cocktails are from HIKARI Laboratories a world leader in the most innovative MESO-COCKTAILS® following extensive research and development. HIKARI® contain an exclusive complex comprised of hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, amino acids, and calming agents. The capsulation of the ingredients is based on a new development of micro-emulsion. This technology allows the ingredients to penetrate deeper into the dermis layer, increasing its efficiency and permeability, treating both superficial and deep skin conditions. To deliver this cocktail we use 16 sterile needle cartridges, which gives more micro channels when compared to other auto needling devices where there needle cartridges have only 12 needles in general. Thickness of each needle is 0.2mm up to a depth 2.0mm depending on treatment area: Because of the thickness of the needle pricking sensation is minimal. The cross section of each needle is configured to form a polygonal cross section of at least six sides instead of a circular cross section, so that when pricking the skin with the needles , the contact surface of each needle relative to the skin can be reduced, minimising any pain. 2-6 sessions are recommended depending on initial skin condition, lifestyle and home skincare routine. For continuous skin improvement and maintenance one session every 4-6 weeks is recommended.
